Free Range Thanksgiving 2014

We're Back! Food // Art // Change

 


We began hosting this community performance feast in 2006 with the Thanksgiving-week plays of Suzan-Lori Parks from her 365 Plays/365 Days project. For the next four years, we brought together 100 theatre artists, food activists and social justice organizers, farmers and friends to share a meal of food grown by local farmers and perform the short plays written by local writers commissioned for the event. After a hiatus of five years and many requests for its return, Free Range is back to celebrate what we make together and apart.
